Ph. D. Atmospheric Scientist
Ph. D. Atmospheric Scientist
I am a Senior Atmospheric Data Scientist at ClimaCell, building state-of-the-art hyperlocal weather forecasts using cloud computing. Previously, my doctoral research focused on the predictability of high-impact weather. I use data mining, ensemble model forecasting, and statistically rigorous analysis to discover the casual pathways leading to high-impact weather events. I grew up in Chicago, IL before obtaining my B.S. in Meteorology, Mathematics, and Physics from the University of Miami in 2013, graduating with Departmental Honors and Magna Cum Laude. Thereafter, I have led several research projects at the University at Albany, SUNY and abroad in Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland, and earned my Ph.D. in meteorology in 2019. You can learn more about my latest research and published papers on this website, or follow my travels and chess competitions. Please feel free to email me if interested in my resume. Enjoy! |
